Data and providers
Identify data classes, regulated-data concerns, retention expectations, selected model providers, connectors, and requested geography or residency terms.
Security requirements
List required questionnaires, evidence, authentication, audit, encryption, incident, backup, or governance expectations and any hard deadlines.
Contract documents
State whether you need a DPA, BAA, SLA, subprocessor schedule, order form, security addendum, or another customer-provided document for review.
Technical evidence
For a product review, include relevant tenant settings, side-effect levels, provider configuration, and examples of the workloads in scope—without emailing secrets.

Safe to share
High-level deployment diagrams, control requirements, document names, planned data classes, provider names, non-secret settings, and vendor-review questions are usually enough to start scoping.
Keep out of email
Do not send passwords, API keys, credential values, production prompts containing sensitive data, or other secret material. Ask for a suitable secure exchange method if detailed evidence is needed.
